Valdés Peninsula – A Sanctuary for Majestic Southern Right Whales

Valdés Peninsula is a unique wildlife sanctuary on Argentina’s coast. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is home to a diverse array of animals—from armadillos and rhea birds to penguins and sea lions. However, the region’s main attraction is the southern right whales, which inhabit these waters from late June through late November.

These magnificent creatures are naturally curious, frequently coming close to boats during tours, allowing guests an unforgettable, up-close encounter with their impressive presence.

Beyond whale-watching tours, we invite our guests to explore multiple protected reserves on the peninsula, providing a comprehensive immersion into the region’s abundant wildlife.
